Lorraine Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), a Certified Family Trauma Professional, a Certified Adolescent Trauma Professional, an Autism Specialist

Lorraine J. Smith is a Mental Health Therapist, Developmental Disability Specialist, and CEO of Solutions For U. Recognized for her dedication, achievements, and transformational leadership in social services, Lorraine partners with local and international organizations to equip and empower individuals to live quality life. Smith was recently appointed the Georgia State Representative for the Jamaica Diaspora Council for the Southern U.S.A., is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology in Jamaica, and volunteers with the Jamaican Embassy in Washington DC and provides early childhood education, counseling, and mental health support to the community-at-large. Through Solutions For U, Lorraine Smith supports individuals with a range of services for people across the spectrum of developmental and behavioral disabilities – including autism, mental health disorders, learning, and developmental disability, equipping them with health, social, and educational resources, and support so they can thrive. Lorraine Smith is also the author of “Through The Tears, I Rise,” a memoir that helps the reader to unlock the secrets of survival through the lens of her own life.

Our compassionate and dedicated Support Coordinators are experienced and skilled in working with individuals to create positive outcomes and promote the interests and strengths of those they support. Training is provided upon hire and throughout the duration of employment with us.
