Laura has over 25 years’ experience working with individuals with special needs. She began her career as a volunteer at Buck Association for Retarded Citizens in Croydon, Pennsylvania during the summer after her freshman year of high school. She has a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Misericordia University. Laura Fisher has experience working with participants in a variety of settings ie: residential, schools, transition from school to work, Supported Employment, information and referral, advocacy, and beyond. Most recently, Laura has been working for Solutions for U, LLC as a Support Coordinator since May of 2015 when the agency began providing support coordination services.
Laura Fisher has lived in Burlington County all her life and is happily married with 2 boys. She is actively involved in the Family Scouting programs in her town as a cubmaster, den leader, and committee chair. She is an active participant in St. Paul United Methodist Church in Willingboro. In addition to being a member of the congregation, she also assists with the youth programs and is a member of the choir. In her spare time, Laura enjoys baking, camping, crocheting, and hiking.
